12th Annual Oktoberfest - At the Jackson Ice Arena in Stowe. This is an annual celebration of harvests and fall foliage. From oompah bands to authentic German foods to freshly brewed Vermont beers to pumpkin and face painting -- there's something for every "villager" -- young and old.

Ongoing Activities & Events - Year-Round

This is just a sample of things to do in the area. Of course downhill skiing & snowboarding are the most popular winter time activities, but there are also plenty of other fun things! For instance: hiking, horseback riding, fishing, shopping, and many, many more activities!

Go on a Ben & Jerry's Tour - Need we say more? Ben & Jerry's is located just 10 minutes from Stowe on Route 100 in Waterbury. Tours are given daily. For more information please call the B&J's tour line at 802-882-1260.

Laughing Moon Chocolates Dipping Demonstrations & Tours - Handcrafted candy as an art form! Monday - Friday, 2:00pm. Tours daily from 10:00am - 5:00pm. Located on Main Street, a short walk from the Inn. For more information call 802-253-9591.

Stowe Recreation Path - A winding 5.3 mile paved path which begins behind the Community Church in the Village. Ideal for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, walking, jogging, in-line skating or biking.

U-Paint-It Pottery Studio/The Painting Place - (one block from the Inn) Pottery studio where you can try your hand at painting pottery for yourself or as a gift for someone special. Boyden Valley Winery Tours - Boyden Valley Winery is part of a fourth-generation farm in the pastoral Lamoille River Valley. Also on site: corn maze, ice cream stand, Milk House Market (featuring local food products), petting zoo, playground, music pavilion. Winery tours are at 11:30 and 1:00 daily. Umiak Paddling Adventures! - Umiak Outfitters outposts at North Beach and Waterbury Reservoir are now open! Rent a canoe or kayak there for a fun and convenient way to get out on the water. Movies at the Stowe Cinema 3-Plex - Open evenings 7 days a week and for matinees on the weekends. Please call 802-253-4678 for the latest movies & show times.

Stowe Golf Park - Experience a miniature golf adventure on the Mountain Road. Open 10am to 9:30pm daily; call 802-253-9951 for information.
